How to use it

Design a half-fold, tri-fold or quarter-fold greeting card from your own pictures and text. Pick your paper size, add as many pictures and fonts as you like, then print it, export PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, or save your project (or a layered Photoshop .psd) on your computer to keep working later. Everything stays in your browser.

  1. 1Choose a fold (half-fold, tri-fold or quarter-fold) and your printer paper size (US Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A3, A4, A5, 5x7 or 4x6 photo paper).
  2. 2Pick a panel (Front, Back, Inside…) and add pictures: choose several files at once or drop them on the card. Drag a picture to move it, drag a corner to resize it, and use the green dot or the angle box to rotate it.
  3. 3Add text, choose from about 60 free fonts, and set the size, color, alignment and an outline or shadow so it reads well over a photo. Use the center and align buttons to place things neatly; snapping shows pink guides.
  4. 4Open Print preview to see both sheets to scale with fold lines and panel labels, then Print, or save PNG, JPG, WebP or a PDF at 300, 200 or 150 DPI. Follow the double-sided and folding tips shown with your layout.
  5. 5To keep working later, use Save (Ctrl/Cmd+S) or Save as… and pick the file type: a .gnoupcard project keeps everything editable, and a .psd opens in Photoshop with picture and text layers (text becomes pixels there). Use Open… (Ctrl/Cmd+O) to bring either file back; a PSD saved here restores your live text and original pictures.

Only use pictures and words you made or have the right to use. This tool does not include any stock photos or clip art, and you are responsible for the images you add.

Your pictures never leave your device: they are not uploaded, stored or tracked. Nothing is kept when you close the page unless you use Save, which writes a file to your own computer (in Chrome and Edge it overwrites the same file each time; other browsers download a new copy), so save, download or print your card before you leave. The saved file contains your pictures, so keep it as private as the pictures themselves. Home printers often leave a thin blank edge; set the print scale to 100% and check the fold lines with a test print on plain paper. Fonts are free and open source (SIL Open Font License or Apache 2.0) and are served from this site.
